Loomis ranked 25th.

Generous, IMO.

I'll ask

What GM's would you put ahead of him?

Dimitroff Reeves and Baalke stir your soul? I don't have them higher than Loomis fwiw

Rams move reminded me of when we needed a jolt and the franchise was I think at a all time low.

We got Reggie and it helped us come back for a lot of reasons.

Better be good for the titans and may be good for the rams.

I wouldn't do that personally, but you have to give the guy credit for accomplishing the task.

1. Our defense is not mediocre. Even if they want to be.
2. Drew was a top 5 QB a year ago with only Cooks as a respectable NFL talent to throw to and his worst Saint OL ever to protect him. AR and Luck had better talent around them and did worse.

Dumb article.

I have to remember not to post any negative Saints information on this board, even if it is factual.

Loomis isn't a good GM. The reasons stated are wrong. Therefore article sucks.

They could have brought up dead money, bad drafts, bad signings, not firing position coaches, losing talented players, etc

Mediocre D and Bad/Awful D are different things

Best years behind Drew and purge the roster entirely when Brees had a great year is all around retarded too.

All this. This dude's depth of knowledge of the team seems to be he heard Mike and Mike talk about us for a couple minutes one morning.

It was just a quick thumbnail and wasn't really a specific article about Loomis.

Drew may have very well have some good years ahead, but obviously his prime is past.

Drew's "Good" years are still ROH numbers compared to every other QB we ever had and HOF numbers to most other QB seasons.
If he didn't miss a game last year he would have thrown for over 5000 yards for the 5th time in NFL history with Cooks, Snead, and Watson...

In 2014 he missed that mark again by 48 yards.

His good year stats are actually pretty identical to his prime stats if you look at them.

25 seems pretty high for him. Maybe he can earn that ranking this season.

I don't disagree, but to expect him to have many more years like that is whistling in the dark.

No way signing Byrd in 2014 was the worst move. It's not good yet certainly and may still pay off but the worst? C'mon. Save that for Junior and his $20 mil. A close second would be Browner.

About right, terrible Gm getting a proper ranking.
