If raiders don't offer Tracy more, he may come back home.

I do not want. He's worse then p-rob. Hasn't done anything since 09, saints fans living in the past on this one.

He's had some pretty clutch situations. At Tennesee in 2011 he broke up a slant in the end zone that would have lost us the game. That would have been a pretty embarrassing loss.

Not that that was a huge game, but it shows we don't really have the luxury of being picky when we had the worst defense in the history of the world

Turning down more money to go to the Bengals really shows how bad Oakland is

Raiders acquire Matt Flynn for 2 draft picks
quote:

Per FOX's Jay Glazer, the Raiders are parting with a late-round pick in both 2014 and 2015. Glazer also reports Oakland is "trying to finalize" flipping Carson Palmer to the Cardinals for a "late pick." It's an absurd price for a team that has no chance of competing in 2013, and is bereft of premium picks in this month's draft. Just four of Oakland's seven selections are before the 205th pick. The Raiders can ill-afford to flip future selections. Flynn may well prove competent and is half the price of Carson Palmer, but his "track record" consists of lighting up a Lions team that had already clinched a playoff spot in Week 17 2011. The Raiders are going to need Flynn to vastly exceed expectations for the move to be worth it. GM Reggie McKenzie's vision has proven muddled his second year on the job.

#Cardinals likely to release a QB after their trade for Carson Palmer is complete. Early indications are John Skelton will be odd-man out

Were the numbers ever released for Butler? I don't want to read all of this.

just a McKinnie update-

There hasn't been a lot of demand for left tackle Bryant McKinnie, even from the Ravens.

It appears that McKinnie will be one of those unrestricted bargain basement free agents. McKinnie can still play at a high level, but teams are concerned about the baggage — the constant weight problem and questionable work ethic — that comes along with him.

At least the Ravens know what they are getting in McKinnie, having had him on the roster the past two seasons.

If the Ravens are desperate leading up to training camp, McKinnie could be a last-minute option. But it appears his chances of returning to Baltimore are slim.

has anyone taken a stab at our projected starters on defense yet? I haven't been able to keep up with the whirlwind of signings very well

try some

Who's out there we haven't heard anything about that might be a fit to bring in players?

I'll go first,

Richard Seymour

He might retire without a big pay day. If he wants to play for a contender one last time on an incentive laden one year deal, Nawlins might be the place.

Would be a great experienced vet in the rotation. Played both NT & DE when in the 3-4.
