Trade down 2-6 spots. Get something.
Draft Jaylon Smith could be safest pick kind of crazy.
Michael Thomas WR in 2nd
Safety and DT in 3rd round w extra pick acquired. Maybe a Sheldon day and a Bell both teammates if earlier picks

Care to say what's not to like? Jaylon is No. 1 type talent of draft that we can afford to wait on. Excellent character, dynamic talent

I'm kind of wanting us to draft Roberto Aguayo and end the kicking nightmare.

Yeah cause drafting the guy who may never play again in the 1st round is such a brilliant idea

I wouldn't be opposed to drafting Smith. Unfortunately we need a player or two at least that can come in and start this season on the defensive side of the ball. He's getting back to his playing weight. I don't see him making it out of the 2nd round.

We have a 38 year old QB who's window is closing fast and you want to use our 1st round pick on someone who don't play this year? I'm just making sure I understand you correctly.

I think long term is more important by a mile. Do I want a Charles grant over Patrick Willis or Derrick Johnson just cause he provides a little more impact rookie year? Hell no

I like the idea of trading down 6-10 spots and getting another 2nd or 3rd round pick (depending on how far down we trade). I like Smith, but I don't think he goes in the first round at this point.

I'm thinking he's got 7 months to suit up, I don't think that is unrealistic

The last news I heard on him was not good at all. There were rumors of nerve damage and all sorts of things. From what I understand he is getting reevaluated on April 15th. If he checks out well, I hope and pray he is there at 12. If not, it becomes a gamble.

I see CSP drafting Jaylon Smith or Kevin Dodd with our 1st selection. We need another pass rusher bad; however, Jaylon is a ELITE talent who will be drafted in the 1st round as long as his rehab is going A-ok! There is plenty of depth at Defensive Line so Jaylon next to Stephone would be an instinctive, athletic LB duo...

I agree with Smith being ELITE as he is a top 3 pick IF healthy. Still a lot of unknown which will come out shortly. Not to mention the fact that teams leak negative shite with the hopes that a prospect falls. Again, more info will come out shortly. I also agree with the DT depth. I think we go DE 1st round and DT second round. I also think (hope) we go OG in round 3.

So get the f@ck out of the way.

Its going to happen and we will stock up on picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds

I'd love Michael Thomas in the 2nd but I'm starting to think he has no shot of being there

The guy might have more physical upside than any other WR in this draft.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. The guys who's dick fell out at the combine from MSU would be a great 2nd round pick.

I honestly wouldn't mind Jaylon. If he can come back and be the player people think he was gonna be, I'd take a flier on that.
