That's too high for DGB. No thank you.

Not a bad draft so far. DGB could be huge for us if he stops being a head case. He reminds me of Kenny Britt. Has the talent and size but has serious character issues. The draft is deep at WR this year too. Could probably get a better value player here and a WR in a later round.

I think Bryce Petty ends up being a good NFL QB once he learns behind Drew.

I would be pissed off with each pick except Olomu at 78. Beckham at 15 would be horrible. Dude needs at least a year, probably two to develop. Jalen Strong looks like the clear-cut 4th best WR in the draft, and there's a good chance that one of the better 3 will be available at 13/15.

Also, there's a thread for mocks.

If we don't trade Jahri we don't need a guard in the first 3 rounds.

Yes we do. Lelito hasn't proven much. And Jahri is clearly nearing the end of his career. We're not just drafting for one season, we have to worry about the future as well.

You realize jahri has about 1-2 years left max right? And that our starter on the other side is Tim Lelito. Guard is a huge position of need

So since we have Cam+Junior, by depth alone, you don't need Smith.

You just want Drew dead.

Grubbs and Evans. 2014

Lelito and Evans. 2015

Seems worse at guards.

Pass.

If the draft actually unfolds this way, the FO should be fired....immediately.

If White and Cooper are gone before #13, you don't even think about a WR in the 1st round.

The team has too many needs at OL and LB to not address them in the 1st. I really don't like drafting a WR in the first because it usually takes a few seasons for them to establish themselves....we need immediate help.

The strength of this draft is the WR spot. Wait until the second round to get one.

We need o-line and LB in the first. A good line will enable Brees to make stars of any receiver. A good receiver won't mean shite if we have a crappy line.

The issue with the guard position is I think the saints draft one in the 4th if they do acquire one. We have never drafted a guard early under Sean and Mickey. Also Kelmette and Marcel Jones are 2 guys on the team that I would like to see have a chance to become starting guards.

Not sure I agree. We also have a qb that's getting older . The time for plug and play protection and o line experimentation is over. His interior protection should be our absolute highest priority at this point. We also desperately need weapons and if DGB is deemed to be a huge talent by the team, I wouldn't mind taking him.... But that's very high.

I trust this regime to do more with drafting early offensive talent than I do pass rusher and cbs early.
