I was happy about the pick when he was selected, I thought it was good value because I had seen him play. He had a couple of really head scratching drops and on really bad fumble, but he kept working hard and got them corrected. We all kept hearing about how hard he worked in TC and during the season. I had pretty high hopes for him when he was drafted, but I think it's safe to say that none of us realized how much of a monster he would show himself to be as a rookie.

It's still early in his career with a lot left to prove, but I believe he has the chance to be a consistent top 10 receiver. There were some guys upset about Cooks being moved, but I would actually rather MT lead that receiver room. He is not a Prima Donna (hopefully it stays that way) but he has a nastiness to him that is GREAT for that receiver group.

I definitely think there's a good reason they dropped Cooks after a season of watching MT play. He's a true #1, and can do a lot of stuff the smaller, less physical Cooks could not.
