Safe to say that sets the floor at 11-5/12-4?

9-7 pretty fair. Defense has to okay better or force more turnovers to expect more than that. Offense also needs to stay more patient with run to help them out and not have as many mid game lulls.

I easily stand by those remarks.

We lost 3 of our 10 best players in the span of a week......in June

To be fair we only officially lost one. Ungar expects to be back week one abs nothing decided on Fairly

Technically we only lost 1.

Unger will be back for game 1.
Fairley is still unknown.

Edit: didn't see the above post first

You're right. However, Unger says the goal is "late preseason, early regular season." In the past, these players have returned on the later end of that spectrum.

Regardless, I'd say it's 50/50 whether Fairley and Unger are both starting week 1. Which is not a great problem to have in June

You are both seriously nitpicking anyways. Saints finally hit on a defensive FA and sign him to a big money deal, and 2 weeks later is career is in jeopardy. Our star LT is out for 4-6 months, and it's very possible Unger is not 100% by week 1. The Saints have had insanely terrible luck this offseason healthwise, and no reasonable person would debate that

Can't really complain about 9-7... until the defense shows us something, I think it would be totally fair to predict 7-9 again

I think we are a better team this year and should have been 9-7 last year sans those stupid special team gaffs.

Tough schedule though but I see 10-6

This happened to vikings last season

quote:

It's remarkable the Vikings have won six games after losing their quarterback in August, their best player in Week 2 and both starting offensive tackles by Week 4. (Not to mention their offensive coordinator, who resigned in Week 9, and head coach, who had emergency surgery on a detached retina in his right eye Wednesday and did not coach against the Cowboys on Thursday night.)

like I said, no reasonable person would debate that the Saints have had exceptionally bad luck. Didn't expect you to meet the requirements

The Vikings lost players to injury during the regular season in actual football games (minus Bridgewater). I'm not even going to try and explain the difference to you, you seem like a lost cause

Really? You're that guy? Sorry I don't proof read more when I'm posting on an anonymous message board while I'm taking a breauxmosexual.

according to what. Rankins came back as first reported on time last year. Its more even than you think and depends on the player. Adrian Peterson can come back 9 months after an ACL tear and break 2000 yards rushing. While Kikaha has been sidelined by it for over a year.

It's not luck though its football. Cowboys went into last year with a 4th round rookie leading the team luckily it worked out.

Vikings traded 1st round picks for Sam Fricking Bradford to salvage their season. That didn't work out

This year Myles Garrett suffered a foot injury and is in a walking boot
Jalen Ramsey just had to have surgery
both of their statuses are up in the air.

Dennis Pitta dislocated his hip and is talking about retirement.

Take off your black and gold glasses and look around the league. This happens every year. When you have superhuman men colliding with each other and knocking each other to the ground shite happens.

Tough for 9 and 7, no left tackle. WLB, CBs, and DE are spots still open. Will Fairley play this season?

lol champ, It isn't normal to lose 3 of your star players before you put the pads on, sorry bud. All those scenarios you keep listing off involve football teams losing players in actual game action. We are going to lose more players when the pads come on. I'm absolute befuddled that you can't see the difference. But then again i'm not really because you couldn't spell either name correctly and tried to pass it off as two typos in the same sentence Have a nice day mindbreaker

Pitta, Ramsey, and Garret all happened in OTA's without pads

LINK

Here Ill make it easy for you here is an easily found link of all the football injuries that have occurred since the start of this year. You'll notice every team has at least ten.

So yeah I'm done owning you have fun pointing out typos since you continue to harp on it
