He has potential to be something special, just seems that may not cut it this year. Hope he has his personal issues worked out.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement considering Griffin was given every opportunity last year to beat out McCown and couldn't do it, and they signed McCown to another year on top of drafting a QB.
I also think Swann doesn't make the final 53.
I agree with Tull getting the IR designation.
I'll be shocked (but happy) if both Coleman and Jones make the final 53.

Rob Ryan should of thrown SBJ to the wolves after Corey White fell flat.
you can't develop if you're not even active. SBJ was only active 4 games last year while our secondary crumbled to pieces.
when you see how quickly PJ Williams and Breaux develop... you'll realize just how big of mistake drafting SBJ was.
He is a 2nd rd draft pick, so it won't surprise me one bit if the they decide to give him one more year. but imo if he has a shite camp, then eat your crow saints, cut your loses, and make room for someone who can contribute.

Don't see us keeping McCown and 3 TE's while cutting Foster. They will stick a couple of rookies on IR like they do every year. Murphy goes to IR and Saunders sticks as returner. Tull goes to IR, Powell sticks around.

Could we not get a conditional 7th trying to trade a few of these guys?
Foster not worth a 7? I would think he is. I'd be disappointed to see him go.
I refuse to beleive we couldn't parlay a couple of those cuts into late draft picks.

If SJB can't make the cut to bad. keep the best is what CSP has always said. Stick to it. How would yall feel cutting Breaux just to keep a 2nd rounder who's not as good?

Agreed. You missed. Oh well. shite happens. Move on. His measurables were attractive for a corner. Hell. Put his arse back on the offensive side of the ball at WR and let him compete there.
