Interesting to note that Taco Charlton doesn't make his top 5 edge rushers.

quote:

Edge rusher

1. Myles Garrett, Texas A&M
2. Solomon Thomas, Stanford
3. Derek Barnett, Tennessee
4. Takkarist McKinley, UCLA
5. Tim Williams, Alabama

Linebacker

1. Reuben Foster, Alabama
2. Haason Reddick, Temple
3. Jarrad Davis, Florida
4. Zach Cunningham, Vanderbilt
5. Alex Anzalone, Florida

Cornerback

1. Marshon Lattimore, Ohio State
2. Marlon Humphrey, Alabama
3. Kevin King, Washington
4. Gareon Conley, Ohio State
5. Fabian Moreau, UCLA

No Tre White in CB list either. Interesting.

More and more rankings have Cunningham dropping.

I damn sure hope we dont pass on him in the 2nd if he's there. The kid is a playmaker. And smart enough to run this defense.

Anybody who takes Jabrill Peppers over Jamal Adams is gonna have a bad time.

No kidding. I like the kids measurables. I think he would be a SOLID pick in the 2nd round if he fell to us.

Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
Height: 6-0. Weight: 229. Arm: 32.38.
Projected 40 Time: 4.69.
Projected Round (2017): 1

Zach Cunningham*, ILB, Vanderbilt
Height: 6-3. Weight: 234. Arm: 34.38.
40 Time: 4.67.
Projected Round (2017): 1-2

I don't get the love for Marlon Humphrey. Wasn't even the best DB on his team.

True, but this is the deepest CB class in years.

If the Saints are enamored with Charlton, trade down a few spots to take him. Grab another second day pick and/or recoup the 5th rounder. LSU's White in the second round would be an excellent pick.

Drafting Cunningham would make the Klein and Te'o signings almost like a waste especially considering neither of them came really cheap. Definitely not Klein.

I would run to the podium to take him at 32, assuming we haven't traded it, so imagine my sheer joy of getting him in the 2nd.

A close friend of mine is a scout for an NFC team (not the Saints) and he recently told me his department has Adams graded as the highest safety prospect to enter the draft in the last 10 years.

Humphrey as the #2 CB?

That alone shows how shite this list is.

But I had a dude in another thread tell me Kendall Beckwith was the best ILB in this draft. He said it wasn't because he was an LSU fan either. This list must be wrong.

The list is right, considering Beckwith had a major knee injury in December. Got any more sarcasm to share?
