Hold on... The only time Drew's in trouble is pressure up the middle. He moves up so well that guards are more important than Tackles.

I wouldn't want Fluker. I don't trust that he will be able to pass protect in the NFL.

No one is denying that, but we have two top 10 guards right now. If you want to add some depth sure, but in this ridiculous mock its unfathomable to think the saints would pass on some of the defensive talent available, or Lane Johnson who has the highest ceiling out of the top 3 tackles, especially when we don't have one right now.

Worst draft I've seen yet. This guy's a moron and should have to turn in his man card for this.

1-3 are legit

The Eagle just spent a 1st round pick on Fletcher Cox so clearly they would pass up on their huge needs (OT and CB) with Fisher and Dee available to take a player that they could trade back and get around 12-15.

The Lions taking Mingo would be f*cking dumb. He's a 3-4 OLB. Putting him at DE in a 4-3 in the league means that Peterson would go for 700 yards against the Lions next year.

The Saints taking Cooper would be the shittiest move in the world. Taking a guard at 15 overall when you literally have the worst defense to ever touch an NFL field is a joke.

In this draft this is basically saying that the Vikings traded Percy Harvin (an MVP candidate) for cap space and Tharold Simon good god at the face palm

As I said for his first one, it's clear that he's doing these mocks for site hits and to run up his comment counts, and he pretty much alludes to that in the intro.

Good job in playing the game.

His worst games have been when teams got consistent pressure off the edge. He's the best at stepping up in the pocket, but we already have one of the best interior lineman groups in the NFL between Grubbs, Evans, and DLP.

I'm all for getting a good tackle in here, protect the $100 million man

that's why we only try to put more reputable mockers in the stickied mock thread. Spose more shitty ones could generate more traction it looks like.

that's horrible. I'd take Jones certainly, as well as Vaccaro or Elam before an offensive guard. Offensive tackle is a different matter.

It's not the only time. Yes he's able to move around well, and it's much worse up the middle, but there have been games where pressure from the outside (Rams 11, Chiefs 12) have killed us. We've found ways to mitigate our poor tackle play (with screens, quick passes, moving the pocket and chipping), but if there's one of the 3 top LT's on the board at 15, I pray the Saints take him.

We’ve also realized that, regardless of the league insiders from whom we get the information on which the mock draft is based, the various Mel Kiper Jr. Juniors in the crowd will declare it’s the worst mock draft they’ve ever seen, to the extent that it deviates from the conventional wisdom of those who don’t make draft picks for a living.

Florio does have a point. If Mel Kiper was right, Jimmy Clausen and Brady Quinn would have been top 5 picks. Most of the "experts" at the popular media outlets either have an agenda or they are helping teams get their smokescreens out there.

He's also the same guy who said that Bountygate was full of shite while all of the other talking heads were toeing the NFL line.
