The more I keep reading, the more I believe he has no idea what he is talking about.

The next few weeks are the high tide of sh!t slinging for NFL reporters.

Any quote or rumor these guys write about is worth less than my wifes collection of belly lint.

It would be a no-brainer if the Saints had signed a good pass rusher in free agency, but they didn't. Same for a corner, so there are our two holes.

Now with Butler, if he were in the draft right now, where does he get drafted? More than likely top 5, so if you truly believe he is a premiere shutdown corner, you make the trade for 11.

However, the Saints are in a good position to add two young players at positions of need for two cheap contracts. But then again, you're trusting the Saints to hit on those picks.

All over the place with this one.

There's no where to be all over the place.

No one is giving up a top 11 pick for Malcolm Butler and then paying big him big money.

Speaking of all over the place

So on one hand he says work out a trade and on the other you cant engage in a trade.

Absolutely, I just wanted direct proof. Could have sworn he's contradicted himself during these rumors

If the Pats want to trade one of their players... don't walk away, RUN! But every FO thinks they will be the ones to outsmart them.

didn't check the thread but everyone should know Lombardi is a shill for the Pats. Good guy, good knowledge but he was employed by the Pats from 2014-16. He has been also pushing that the Pats really want to keep Garrapolo. Most think this is only to help boost his value in trade.

You can wish in one hand and shite in the other and see which will get filled first.
