Yea, Kiper has a lot of sources, he knows everybody's measurables in his head, but he's an average scout at best. You would think Kiper would be better at scouting by now...he's been doing this like 30 years. McShay is just sad. NFL Network is much better.
Yep I agree. I'll give Kiper his due though, he knows a lot about a lot, which is impressive, and why he has a job. But as a player/talent evaluator he's average to below-average for the level he's at.

I know you admitted Nassib and Beasley aren't apples to apples but that's a bad comparison regardless.
I'll admit that someone projected to go top 15 usually gets taken by end of the first, but my general point was there are circumstances where they drop to the 2nd...another example is Geno Smith; remember he pouted and left the green room bc the camera kept going to him haha

and then fired his agent.
I'm just saying, Beasley is talented enough to where if he gets to Dallas or even us (granted we havent taken an OLB already), I just can't see either passing on him.
The only thing i can deduct is they're hearing things from their sources to warrant such a drop. Because based on production and measurables alone, he's blindly worth a first rounder.

Don't get me wrong...i will be more than happy if the Saints take Vic at 13 and there's no way in hell I dont take him at 31 if somehow he was still there
Just bored and chatting draft haha...cant wait until next Thurs!

Nah, I gotcha. I feel you trying to look at is reasonably, but that's a little far-fetched IMO. If they had Gregory falling out of the first i'd be able to understand it better.
But yep, can't get here soon enough! If it were like recent years we'd be watching as we speak. Fricking Goodell

Those are QBs, not an edge rusher. QBs are always projected way too high because people assume teams will reach for them. Beasley is a top 5 worthy EDGE rusher, and they don't usually drop out of an entire round like that.
You keep using horrible comparisons that don't make sense.

Was just about to say that project QBs and elite edge rushers are not equal but ya beat me to it

I agree that Jeremiah & Mayock are good. The best is Gil Brandt. Out of everyone out there, Brandt has actually been there & done that. He was one of the best scouts in the business. His articles can be found on NFL.com.

His innovative management and personnel systems are standard operating procedure today for many teams at the professional and collegiate levels nationwide. As NFL Media's personnel guru, Brandt offers insight and commentary on all aspects of players and teams.
