how is he still getting so much playing time? It looks like he is only there to run and forgot that he is supposed to attempt to catch the ball.

If 2006-2011 Drew was playing Meach would've had 130+ yds and 2 TDs today.

Forget? It was under thrown...
Meachem hasn't lost his speed, I can tell you guys that much.

maybe he should start running backwards

1 was a really good play by the defender or its a TD
the other was badly underthrown
but I do remember him throwing a good block on 1 of our big gainers

He showed no regard for hustling back into each of the bad balls thrown his way that were/should have been picked off. He ran his route and then pulled up. He didn't try to knock it down either time. LACK OF EFFORT!!

yes he is useless. 4 catches for 60 yrds on the season with being targeted 13 times. prob has more ints thrown his way than catches.

He's the best run blocking WR on the team. That's the reason he's here.

I do remember him throwing a good block in the back on a big gainer too which negated our big play......As others have stated, he lost a step in speed but is still fast enough to get behind defenders, but he does not battle contested catches very well and he cannot high point a ball because he cannot catch with his hands so he doesnt' even try to go up or go back and catch it.....Put in MORGAN!

Who else do you want to put out there? Colston is slow and can't get separation, Stills seems to be regressing, Meachem is Meachem, Cooks apparently can't play past ten yards from the line of scrimmage, then there's Morgan and Toon who, for all we know, don't even know how to get to the stadium.

It's funny that this is suddenly something to bitch about. Neither sproles nor Lance Moore played past 10 yards past the line either. That's not his specialty. Cooks is playing pretty damn well for a rookie starting on a team like this one

Some are Bress throws yesterday were just awful. I am not saying he can not play 2 more years but he is def losing arm strength. Still the best qb ever for the Saints and a legend.

I'm starting to wonder if his oblique injury is still bothering him.

That was his first bad game this season.
He had a few gorgeous deep balls, but def under threw 2 tds.
He had a beautiful outside throw that traveled at least 40 through the air. That should be a much harder throw

He did this against Dallas last week when the ball was tipped just stood there and watch the LB instead of trying to make a play for it. He did the same thing against yesterday. I know this for fact because my brother and I talk about these two plays.

We went into this in detail. He had.. 87 seconds to change direction and make a play on the ball. He delivered a hit almost immediately
