I wish Morgan had not played in the scrimmage.

Bring him in. If healthy he is much more valuable than tanner.

I can't believe some here are shitting all over Meachem. He was a valuable receiver here for Drew. Glad he's back. Who fricking dat!

Bah...you can't control stuff like that unless you abolish the preseason. shite happens. It's not like the offense is going to fall apart without him.
I'm way more concerned about filling the holes left by Coleman, Butler, Vilma and Smith. Not that I'm thinking Vilma and Smith would have been great, but they were capable players at the most. But Coleman and Butler, that hamstrings depth big time.

That's if he's physically up to it. I mean, either his body isn't up to it anymore, or Payton looked at SD and was like "Lol, wut? That's not how you use him!"
I don't think we ever saw Meachem show here that he was capable of becoming an all around WR. When SD signed him, they were betting basically the opposite of what you just said...that they would be able to do more with Meachem than the Saints did.
If Meachem is healthy, he fills a need on this team. We've been very successful in the past having 2 guys that can stretch the field. I'm hoping that Payton has seen enough of Meachem to be confident that he's still up to the task.

Look. I'll love the guy forever. But I just have some bad feelings about this signing. I surely hope I'm wrong and would be glad to be.

Meachem is a solid blocker in the run game.
True.
plus he just was never a good fit in that turd of an offense out in SD.
I'm kind of apathetic about this but he's more than just a deep threat like you mentioned.

Brees on the bubble.
McCown played too well in the preseason.

If they cut Tanner I am going to burn this mother down

Welcome back Bob! I hope you don't suck!

My initial reaction is to look where there are too many players, which are WR and RB. Then TE...after that, well...I don't know. Are the Saints even at 53 or are they below?

Tanner definitely should have a future here.
Guy is talented.
I think the Saints have jerked him around enough.

Idk why Saints fans don't want him.
He will already have some trust from Drew Brees and I am sure for the most part still knows the system. If the Saints needed a wr, he is the best option on the market.
I am agreeing with an Atlanta fan right now.

Well, we've carried 6 wide receivers many, many times.
The amount of running backs is a little strange, but not the most shocking thing.
