Sign & retire only.

Anything else would be uncivilized.

I don't want any part of Meachem being on the roster.

Idk why Saints fans don't want him.
He will already have some trust from Drew Brees and I am sure for the most part still knows the system. If the Saints needed a wr, he is the best option on the market.

Thats what im saying.

I just dont think he had what it took to be a #1 or #2 WR in SD.

He'll be the deep threat here like he was for a few years. It's pretty harmless. Run deep, catch the ball if you're open. We dont have that guy on the team this year, and it has been integral to Payton's offense

Low risk, high reward. We can cut Meachem at anytime and owe him barely anything.. Do not know how people do not like this move.

Why?

I don't imagine he'll be a great help to the team, but its not like he will hurt us either.

I can get not wanting him, but we've got guys on here whining like a bunch of bitches. Is this really that big of a deal? If he's as bad as they say he'll never play.

Great.
Good use of a roster spot.

This. It doesn't seem like SD ever needs that many receivers anyways.
Bringing in a guy who knows Brees and where he wants him to be is a good idea.
