Rewatched the game and tried to follow the interior line...I know we've all been debating other topics - the guards, WR battles, the defense as a whole - but this dude is a fricking stud. I hope to hell he stays healthy.

He's one of the best Centers in the game. The Cowboys have proven once again the Line trumps almost everything.

He is an absolute beast. Very powerful but he also has the athletic ability to get out in space. Go look at Cooks' TD against the Ravens.

Couldn't agree more. Brees depends on a decent pocket to step into his throws. Too many times last year, there was a push in the middle of the line. Unger corrects that problem.

Might just be my imagination but it feels like the line is getting to the second level a lot faster and in bigger numbers. If so, our screen game could be scarier than usual.

and spiller has not even stepped on the field yet, the screen game will be unfair if we utilize it correctly.

This is why I call people stupid for saying we shouldn't have traded jimmy. Drew doesn't need an elite receiving tight end... He just needs an adequate o-line.

The elite QBs are elite because of their line and themselves. Saints traded a guy who can't block for a guy who can. Win.

On that BEAUTIFUL deep ball to Cooks, Unger cleaned up and gave Drew ample time to set things up.

We have missed that dearly the past few seasons.

Saints traded a guy who only dirtectly impacted the passing game (and not consistently) for a guy who will have a major direct impact on both the run and pass - literally every offensive snap.

Thats a win.

We'll find ways to compensate. Colston was a red zone beast before Jimmy. Cooks and Spiller can do what Reggie and Sproles did in the red zone. Watson and Hill are more than capable. Plus the FB to the flat after a play action still works great.

It's the most exciting play in football!

But seriously watching Graham just post up for a td was pretty boring. You KNEW it was going to happen and it was going to work and it was just a boring short pass. I loved that it was a 95% score for us and it helped to win games, but it got old.

It'll be interesting to see what they do to try to keep their red zone offense rolling. I expect maybe a little drop off but not much. After all the guy zipping those passes in is still here.

Him/Strief/Armstead can make any decent guards look good imo.

hit spiller on circle routes like we did with sproles in the red zone. mixed in with the fades and quick outs, slants etc.
