#Pennstate LB Michael Mauti met with Rob Ryan and Sean Payton but did not work out for Saints. Not quite ready yet. Mauti's story, at 10.

Yea he'd probably be great until his knee falls off in the second half of the first preseason game.

2 of his 3 injuries (his last one included) were the result of real dirty illegal blocks. I would happily take a gamble on him late if he's there. He's an animal in the weight room, and had better stats than Teo up until the injury in the second to last game. Plus the home town factor would only fuel the fire.

Would very much be worth a late round pick.

Too much pressure to live up to the legacy of his Father. Rich Mauti, who likes to pawty, could play every position on the field. I recall one game where he played wide receiver, QB, punter, safety, punt returner field goal holder, deep snapper, corner, and left tackle. Too much pressure. He should play elsewhere

Was that Mauti or Guido Merkins?
