Way to deflect the blame Q.B. Take all the glory and none of the pain. I don't think Brees would do this in a 1000 yrs.

Another reason they will shite the bed. He blames the same OC that got them in the SB.

Goes straight to his character.

If he didn't like the plays couldn't he have changed them? What a cuck.

He definitely could have called time out instead of saying Shanahan couldnt get the play in on time. Sore fricking loser.

Well, the play-calling was incredibly dumb. Why would Atlanta try to pass when they could run, kill the clock and kick a field goal?

We've got a Matt Ryan fan down voting up in here.
Matt Ryan sucks.
Matt Ryan sucks.

Here is the bus Matt Ryan just threw Kyle Shanahan under.

He is such a bitch, no way Brees would say that.

Is anyone really surprised to see this person

He has a point but screw him anyways

They were up 28-3 late in the 3rd and months later, Matt Ryan blames the offensive coordinator...

so far devonta freeman should have been SB MVP, the regular season MVP blames the worst loss in NFL history on his O coordinator who gave him his first productive season as an above average QB, they have a welcoming home parade of 10 falcons fans, and they build a giant butthole to hide in....this melt has been a lot worse than I ever foresaw

It was idiotic play calling for sure.

There's no way in hell he should have taken a sack.

Shanahan 100% lost his mind once they got in fg range there, but let's not pretend the rest of the game didn't happen, or the play calling on that drive that got them in fg range to begin with.
If you are blaming Shanahan for the defense collapsing and players making mistakes in key moments and ignoring all the good he did the whole season and 90% of that game then you (not the poster I quoted directly, just anyone in general) are fricking nuts.
And for them to try and shift blame to the guy who isn't there now who actually did a great job most of the time is super doucebaggery. Ryan doesn't sniff an MVP without Shanahan.
Prepare for the mighty collapse.
Edit:
Also shows the difference in professionalism between he and Brees.
It took 3 straight 7-9 seasons to get Brees to even say he doesn't know how much longer he can keep doing this (in regards to having losing seasons). He never points the finger or calls guys out in public.

That's the link to the original article (the op links to an article about the article).
Ryan said he had no time to call an audible, but if they used a kill system like the Saints it wouldn't have been close to an issue.
It also means guys are lining up slow out of the huddle and Ryan is taking too long to read the d presnap if they can't lineup and have him read the d and audible in 15 seconds. And I don't believe he wasn't making audible calls throughout the year.
Edit:
Skipped over a part where apparently it takes Ryan 9 seconds to relay the play call after getting it. He claimed they routinely broke huddle with about 7 seconds left and still did motion and all that.
Definitely sounds like someone who is willing to take all of the credit for improving a great deal last year while taking no blame for the loss.
