Bears probably won't give him anything long term so they are open to trading him. Can we afford him? Offense wouldn't miss a beat with him in there. Maybe give the bears the pick we got for Stills?

Why? We can address in draft and already have 2 sufficient tight ends. I would absolutely say pass.

Bennett's potential is great. I'd give a 5th for him. He's got talent

He seems like the type of guy that's going to want more money than his ability. I like him and he's a good tight end but he is by no means elite and will want a top tier TE contract.

I disagree. What are you basing this on? We don't truly know what Hill will bring yet. While I like him, he could very well show he isn't ready for the #1 role. Until we see him play a full season, this is to be determined.

He's in the 3rd year of 4 yr 20 mil deal and he wants a new deal. No thanks. Don't want to give up a draft pick then have to turn around and give him a raise.
