That's over four yards per carry, yes? Sounds like it's not Ingram's fault to me. Jesus, the people who bitch about him for I can't imagine what reason on this board...

He needs more carries for sure. Hard to do much when you're only get 10 carries a game.

Adrian Peterson had 50 yards on 31 attempts before he got hurt.

38 more yards on 10 less carries makes Ingram look pretty good, imo.

Other starting running back stats:
Jeremy Hill- 20 carries for 53 yards and 1 TD
TJ Yeldon - 28 carries for 67 yards and 1 TD
Todd Gurley - 36 carries for 98 yards
Arian Foster - 16 carries for 47 yards
Jeremy Langford - 28 carries for 85 yards and 2 TDs

38 more yards than Adrian Peterson.

Starting RBs with fewer yards:

Doug Martin
Matt Jones
Jeremy Langford
Justin Forsett
T.J. Yeldon
Arian Foster
Jeremy Hill
Adrian Peterson

Drew throws the ball pretty freaking well of playaction.

Our best teams have been able to run the ball well to compliment the passing game.

12 or fewer carries in 5 straight games for Ingram now. Guy caught 50 balls last year and all of the sudden he's replaced on third downs by Cadet. Neither of those make sense.

Because 1600 yards on the season is what is expected?

I'm just curious where you pulled this 200 from

I like Alabama fans on Sundays, because the majority of them are Saints fans.

Same can be said for Ole Miss and Mississippi State fans.

Yeah, it's not Mark's fault. He's averaging 4.2 YPC, but he's only getting 10 rushes per game.

Give him more attempts, or at least more touches. Love the safety valve route being thrown to him and not Cadet.

Same production could be had at half the cost. Then we could maybe afford some better linemen or coaches

You mean like CJ Spiller? Ingram has a base salary of 765k this year and a 2.5 mil cap hit. Good luck finding that production from basically a league minimum back

I agree and he also needs to be more involved in the passing game like has been mentioned.
