After two games. Pathetic.

We've lost two games by a combined four points...imagine if Ingram's total was closer to 200 yards rushing as opposed to 88. That may be the difference right there.

He's only carried it 21 times through 2 games. Needs more than that.

It's hard to get rushing yards when you don't have the ball in your hands.

4.1 ypc with a line that isn't blocking well for the run.

Maybe we should give him the ball more than 10 times a game?

You can blame Payton 100% for not even attempting to run the ball.

And people want the Saints to draft Leonard Fournette in the first round.

I'm not blaming the RBs for any of their poor play, its part OL but the SAME issue with PT-Sproles-Ingram. Predictable play calling.

Ingram: 21 carries, 88 yards, 4.2 YPC (6 receptions, 6 targets 46 yards)
Hightower: 7 carries, 18 yards, 2.6 YPC (1 reception, 1 target, 1 yard)
Cadet: 1 carry, 1 yard (5 receptions, 9 targets, 31 yards)

I'm tired of Cadet, give his snaps to Ingram-Hightower at 70/30. Hightower did fine as a primary 3-phase RB last year. Why can't we mix it up between them both instead of being so god damn predictable.

Fournette would be a waste here. We know that.

I'd take Mccafery here, though

I'd like to see Lasco get some carries. He looked good to me in the preseason.

What I hate about this offense is Ingram gets a good run on first, gets about 5 yards, goes out of the game immediately. From what I have seen, he is a good pass blocker and a good receiver, why not leave him in the game for a few plays.

It started off as a good technique to keep defenses off balance but for the last couple of seasons it's just looks like a hindrance.

That isn't why you got bashed. you got bashed b/c you said we should have ran the ball with a 2 TD lead in the 4th quarter. The Saints never had a 2 TD lead with the ball in the 4th quarter.

Furthermore, our offense wasn't an issue against the Raiders.

Derp

Now against the Giants, with the way our offense was playing, you have a legit gripe.

Well lets add dropped passes, Fleener, blocked kick for score, missed 61 yard field goal. Poor over use of time outs that CSP thinks are limitless and injuries to #1 and our #2 cornerbacks. Then we can go into game planning by the offensive brain trust. In other words its not just MI and his touches.

I think Fleener dropped more passes Sunday than he did all of last year.

He's been incredibly disappointing so far.

For him to average over four yards with this line blocking is amazing all in itself. He has to run the rock at least 15-20 times a game. Also, there is no way I am the only saints fan that is tired of the RB by committe thing. The saints don't have the personnel for that at the moment. Keep Ingram in the game and spell him Hightower.

We should definitely feed Ingram the ball more.

But every time he gets 4 yards on first down, there's some stupid bullshite double reverse WR pass to the fifth TE on second down that loses 6 yards.

The coaching staff is not patient enough to eat yardage and clock. They just can't help themselves.
