Who is drafting a RB in the top 12? I haven't seen a single mock that has.

nor have the 32 GM's in the league. They follow media mocks like a christian and his bible! There's NO WAY Gurly goes in the top 12 thanks to these mocks.

I would say there are still RBs that could justify a high 1st but that is almost like a GM job on the line call. Can be but I wouldn't want to try and pick him.

Recent 1st Rd RBs

2012
1 1 3 3 Trent Richardson Browns Alabama
2 1 31 31 Doug Martin Buccaneers Boise State
3 1 32 32 David Wilson Giants Virginia Tech
2011
1 1 28 28 Mark Ingram Saints Alabama
2010
1 1 9 9 C.J. Spiller Bills Clemson
2 1 12 12 Ryan Mathews Chargers Fresno State
3 1 30 30 Jahvid Best Lions California
2009
1 1 12 12 Knowshon Moreno Broncos Georgia
2 1 27 27 Donald Brown Colts Connecticut
3 1 31 31 Beanie Wells Cardinals Ohio State
2008
1 1 4 4 Darren McFadden Raiders Arkansas
2 1 13 13 Jonathan Stewart Panthers Oregon
3 1 22 22 Felix Jones Cowboys Arkansas
4 1 23 23 Rashard Mendenhall Steelers Illinois

Spiller prolly the best of those

1. RBs are less important in today's game than ever before;

this will change very soon with so many college QBs running spread offenses instead of the pro style. RB will again be more important once the pros become filled with these type of QBs.

there also hasn't been a RB of Gurley's talent to come out in the last few years.

Do you even Mark Ingram, Brah?

Seriously though, I don't see a RB going before 15. Just too many other positions of need. Gurley's injury history will hurt him IMO too.

And besides, it's not like Le'Veon Bell, Montee Ball, Eddie Lacy, Jeremy Hill, Bishop Sankey, Giovani Bernard, or Doug Martin are slackers. Trent Richardson went top 5 and I don't think there is near the hype around Gurley or Gordon as there was for Richardson.

My question is why is Ameer Abdullah so low on everyone's draft board? He's my favorite back in this class.
