It is a problem, it is also a bi-product of today's NFL. Helmet to helmet and defenseless receiver penalties are pushing defenders to dive at the feet to avoid penalties rather than hit high and risk one. Obviously this is not the case every time, but it is a factor to think about.

Best way Describe him is inconsistent. He has made a handful of memorable plays for the saints, and for every memorable play he has disappeared in games or even for the whole 2011 season.

He takes poor angles when tackling and isnt much of a ball hawk . Does anybody know what week in 2010 was his last interception?

With that being said, Let's enjoy the recent play he's brought to the defense and hope it continues.

He had a pick six on November 18, 2012.

Are you just making an obvious statement or are you claiming that's the reason why Jenkins has been inconsistent?

Damn I see I created a firestorm, is he a great tackler in comparison to other great safeties? Probably not, but on our team he's one of the better ones. He takes some bad angle and occasionally whiffs, but then he'll have some just text book ones(can't think of the specifics this year, but look at him against CJ2K in open space last season)

When he's bad, he's bad. When he's good, he's good.
