I think BH may have jumped the gun on this one a bit. I think its happening but there are probably quite a bit of moving parts. And Payton is at OSU's ProDay so he's not even in NOLA.
Don't think this happens today, but I do think it happens. Hopefully BH is proven right.

Yeah he doesn't post with that much assurance unless he knows something is up for sure.
I think they are probably getting it done behind the scenes but I think there is a lot of stuff that needs to happen, so I'm not sure we will hear about it today. It is 3:30 CST...things often break during the afternoon drive time.

It is not legit info if it does not actually happen. "He will be a Saint today" was the statement. He did not become a Saint as of 8:00 PM today. He should have phrased it as "Sauces saying he is likely to become a Saint today". Words matter.

while this is true, the guy doesn't post just to post BS, since he posted it, then its safe to assume he truly had a good reason to believe it.
as far as I know, the guy knows what he is talking about when he says something, so if he says it, then its generally based on more then just a rumor.

I'm guessing whoever he knows must have heard that they hoped to get it done today, but of course if it is over guaranteed money that can be a delicate thing, and it can go from almost done to wait a week before talking again in an instant.
The deadline is April 21st for him to sign his tender. It'll happen likely between now and then (but could draw on until draft day when the picks are actually used).

I never said he is wrong about it getting done. I believe it eventually will get done. He was just wrong on the statement about today.

I'm willing to believe that BH actually knows someone, and was hearing that from them. However, these things are so fluid, you open yourself up for criticism when being definitive in regards to sharing the things you hear.
