He can let it rip here and I think our defense is going to be awesome.

This is true but I think it's because who we have on offense. Geggggg Williams pressure schemes took advantage of a great offense. Might see a similar result with this pressure D.

This guy will easily be one of the most popular people in NOLA if the defense does well here. Every restaurant in town will have the "Rob Ryan Special."

O/U on Rob having one of the celebrity burgers at Phil's Grill this year?

Couldn't this be a negative? I remember reading something when he was the DC for the Cowboys that a big reason his defense was struggling was because he had so many variations in his defenses that his players would get confused. Which in turn results in blown assignments.

Having your identity be that you don't have a identity can be dangerous imo.

It's probably not what you want when your talent is superior to your opponent. However...

That extra human being that he has hiding in his stomach gives him a 2nd brain so that he can think in multiples.

Give him some love, he loves New Orleans and donates half his salary to local restaurants. I have already seen him walking around downtown twice and I don't even live in New orleans. Let just all hope he does a great job and give him a few years. Hell they cant be worst than they were last year. They just dont have the talent on D now so they are going to get torched sometimes. Hopefully not all the time.
