Looks like the Saints are doing their part to position themselves to draft LF7. I know they have greater needs but they can address those in other ways. I would be ecstatic to have LF7 as Saint. There is no doubt he would love being a Saint.

The reality is that the Saints need to rebuild. They aren't going to get a single high pick Defensive player that will rebuild the team. LF7 is someone you can build around. Trade the other RB's for D players or draft picks.

Also at some point in the next couple of years you need to get some trade value for Brees and start rebuilding.

Yeah, that RB is going to shore up our defense.

If we get first pick and take LF7, I'd become a falcons fan.

I'd actually just give up and stop watching the team, but you get my point.

you do realize that there has be a value to the RB's you are wanting to trade.... the ONLY RB on our roster with ANY value would be Ingram, and i'm not sure if he'd get anything past the 4th or 5th round in return...

you play too much Madden....

We need corners, linebackers, linemen on both sides of the ball, get rid of Byrd and get a real safety, another tight end (frick Fleener) all before we think about getting a running back.

Would be the worst draft pick in team history. God awful decision.

If we are loosing for a high pick it better be for a pass rusher like Miles Garrett of Texas A&M.

We have backs we have no one on this team who can bring pressure off the edge.

Some people don't understand that the offense is fine (OLine being the weakest link) because they're putting up points (9th in the NFL at 26.3 ppg). If the defense was worth a damn, we'd own this division and have a bye in the playoffs.

We had too many significant injuries, can't cover, or get a pass rush off the edge. We need to draft a defensive end. Period

LF7 is overrated and would not help your team. Honestly, LF7 is a 2nd round pick. What have you seen that makes you think he's a 1st round pick? Him demolishing crappy defenses? Yea, that won't happen in the NFL.

If we take anything other than a pass rusher or Jabrill Peppers I'll punch a baby.

You really need to think about what you are posting before making one.

LF7 has had 18 straight 100 yard games with absolutely no passing threat to complement him. Week in and week out, damn near the entire defense is at the line of scrimmage to stop him and he still manages to put up 100 yard performances. Now, you tell me a name of any RB who's been faced with what LF7 has been faced with and still was able to put up the stats he's been able to record? I'll make it easy for you...the answer is none.

Why is this board so full of people who think losing with 30+ points on the board is somehow the fault of the offense.

Can we just agree that Leonard Fournette is a great player and we wish him well, but we don't want the Saints to use a high draft pick on him? Is that so crazy?

It isn't. None of them are blaming the offense they are just being homers and want to see their favorite college player on a pro team that they occasionally watch.

The people on this board who are regulars and are true Saints fans all know that this would be a terrible waste of a pick.
