Nice.

C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa
Like this kid. 3-4 rnd possible.

No Borland, Van Noy or Stanley-Jean Baptist??
Prob the few i was most excited to see.. Even though no one really shined in either the East-West or Senior bowl. Strategy maybe??

Another site said that we interviewed Christian Jones (FSU ILB) this week.

Remember seeing that as well. May have been on Nola.com, FSU has some good players coming out.

Looks like they are focusing more on the interior OL. Centers and Guards.

I wouldn't look too much into the players that we didn't talk to. We've drafted players as early as the 1st (Ellis) in previous years that we didn't interview at All-Star games.

Maybe they shouldn't do that too much.

Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (SR)
Pretty please!

We always get a player or two from left field. Nobody would have known who Hicks was except for his minimal LSU connection. Did anyone know who Terrance Armstead was? Or even Jimmy Graham?

We really shouldn't read too much into pre-draft interviews.
Here's the list of prospects the Saints interviewed last year at the 2013 combine:
Josh Boyd, DL, Mississippi State (EW)
Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall (SR)
Tyrone Goard, WR, Eastern Kentucky (EW)
Zaviar Gooden, LB, Missouri (SR)
Cory Grissom, DL, South Florida (SR)
Demontre Hurst, CB, Oklahoma (EW)
Zach Line, RB, SMU (EW)
TJ McDonald, DB, USC (SR)
Bradley McDougald, S, Kansas (EW)
Leon McFadden, DB, San Diego State (SR)
Aaron Mellette, WR, Elon (SR)
Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M (EW) (VINT)
Chris Pantale, TE, Boston College (EW)
Trent Steelman, WR, Army (EW)
Cooper Taylor, S, Richmond (EW)
Chase Thomas, LB, Stanford (SR)
Brandon Williams, DL, Missouri Southern (SR)
Terrance Williams, WR, Baylor (SR)
Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas (SR)
Roughly 5 of those guys got drafted in the 5th round or higher. Only Chase Thomas was brought into Saints fold and they didn't value him higher than UDFA status.
I've got to think these pre-draft interviews are solely used to finish incomplete scouting reports and are not a true barometer of interest. The Saints are far too secretive with their list of valued prospects to prematurely show their hand via public-knowledge pre-draft interviews.

That's only due to a lack of self draft preparation. This year, when we draft Zach Martin, i'm going to be like oh frick yeah draft gem dropper.

Can't argue that one...
