Talk about a record of futility.

I wonder if the rumors of Cushing using steroids scared the Saints off?

2013 can still be a solid draft in my opinion. For whatever reason Vaccaro hasn't played as well (missed tackles) in Year 2 but he should do better once he gets to play along side a veteran player next year (Byrd, Bush).

Stills can be a big play guy for the offense and Armstead appears to be the athletic left tackle we need.

John Jenkins... meh... its safe to say the whole defensive line has underperformed this year.

2012 class... brutal. I thought Hicks was going to continue to make strides this year. He occasionally makes a play or two but he was a lot more active last year. Corey White has been embattled for the most part. He's been forced into action usually because someone else is hurt.

2011: Cam Jordan has been the most consistent D-lineman on the team since he's been here I think. Mark Ingram is having his best year but it remains to be seen if he'll be back.

2010: Patrick Robinson has the tools to be a good player in my opinion. But he just never really puts it all together. I still would have liked to see how he would have done last year but he got hurt. When you miss a lot of time like that it can really hurt the development of a young player sometimes. Jimmy Graham was a great find and he's been helluva productive pass catcher at TE. He does occasionally disappear from games. I think not having a back like Sproles or Reggie has actually held him back some this year. Our bread and butter players in 2011 were Sproles and Jimmy with Colston making a strong late season push. Jimmy was great in 2013 but Sproles kind of started to get bottled up by defenses more.

Damn! Only 3 are still n the team and 6 still active. That is why we are where we are. It has finally caught up. 2011-2013 isn't much better either

This is the root of our problems. You have to build a team thru the draft and the Saints have failed miserably!!!!!

Upvote for you for making perfect sense.

I blame Loomis in my comment but I might be wrong and it might not be his fault.

I don't know whose fault it is, but, the Saints have failed miserably in the draft for just about its entire history.

Answer: Paul Posluzny and Greg Olsen

Who are two players the Saints could've drafted in 2006 who will still be in the NFL next year?

For as bad as we've been in the draft, we've been pretty epic in FA.
