Let this sink in about Reuben Foster....

In his entire career at Alabama, he never did the following:
Forced a fumble
Recovered a fumble
Intercepted a pass
That means a supposedly amazing talent at the position of LBer never forced or recovered a single turnover in his career.
I think people worried that we missed on him are overrating the guy tremendously, and he will likely prove to be a product of the system rather than an actual stud future pro-bowler or all-pro.

Most of those are a product of luck. Mantei Teo forced/lucked up into a shitload of turnovers at Notre Dame and it made him a Heisman finalist.
As a pro... welp ...

He plays for a different team he doesn't matter anymore. How can we "miss" on a player we never had the chance to draft he wasn't available at out pick and he wasn't being taken over Lattimore so why does this matter.

Two of those arent. He should have at least forced a fumble.

I agree with you. This is for those that won't let it go.

He was always too busy targeting with his head to make a great play.....
For example......
Many NBA players love to block a shot into the stands.....
Bill Russell would block it to himself and get the turnover....
Never wanted him and still don't

Teo is great at identifying routes when he drops back. This was in the scouting report on him coming out of college.

He just couldn't identify girlfriends

Yes...all that factual information is all find and dandy, but.........
Do you know who he is?? (Evidentially the nurse at the combine did not) $12 Million he dropped in signing bonus from his little outburst And yes now the nurse know who he is..

Only 1 turnover behind Alex Anzalone. What a steal he was in the third
is likely the right word? Alabama has produced 3 other first round inside linebackers under saban and his system, two of them have been all-pro

These only count when discussing a LB they dont like, if they like him all of this is irrelevant and a product of luck ect.

Not when he played behind a DL that freed him up

Let this sink in: at the biggest interview of his life, NFL combine, he failed a piss test, threatens to beat up a nurse, and gets kicked out of the combine. That is much harder to do than force a fumble or get an int.

I am not saying they're comparable, I just think it is an example that will help you understand:
Jamal Adams only had 5 interceptions in college in 36 career games. That is really low for a highly coveted safety prospect. Very low actually. But you, as someone who watched him, know that he impacts the game in a major way besides forcing turnovers. Adams did so much shite for LSU's defense. Foster is similar - the dude was constantly making plays, he just isn't the type to fall into tons of turnovers
