That's what I thought too. Hopefully just a few weeks at most.

The shoulder has been an issue since college, that's worrisome.

He has all-pro potential. And I don't feel like that's a stretch to say at all.

Honestly the way he seems to carry himself is pretty elite

Lattimore & Marcus Williams both seem to get better each week. Anzalone keeps improving as well...hopefully the injury isn't serious.

Ramczyk has been moving back & forth between LT & RT while providing solid play. Pretty impressive for a rookie.

Kamara has looked like a legit player since he stepped on the field in the preseason.

Hendrickson has played well as a rotational player so far.

The only rookie that hasn't shown out in the regular season is Muhammad, but that's b/c Kikaha is taking all the pass rushing PT. He played great in the preseason.

Probably the best draft we've had since 2006. The kind of draft that is the backbone of your team for the next 6-7 years.

Just looked for the first Lattimore thread to add my praise.

I can remember no Saints rookie corner EVER coming in and looking as solid as he does. The skills are so bright even the football uneducated can see them. Yes, it might be the chosen one. A truly dynamic impact corner would feel like when Brees got here. Like, we've never had one of those before.

That rookie DE needs PT to show case his talent.. He might be the end we've been looking for!

I assume we'll see him if some guys get injured that aren't placed on the IR. Besides Taysom Hill, he's the most obvious inactive unfortunately. Hopefully we get to see him at some point during the season, but I wouldn't count on it. Obviously if Kikaha gets injured...he'll be active.

I've missed on many a draft prediction, but I loved Lattimore and Williams.

Our secondary has literally gone from old and mediocre to young and talented overnight. It's crazy how young and how much potential we have there right now.

Yep. As good of picks as Lattimore & M. Williams look to be so far...getting Crawley as an udfa is about as good of value as you can get. Hopefully he's our version of Chris Harris Jr in Denver. Hitting on legit udfa's(to go along with your draft picks) is how you build a roster in a short amount of time for a cheap price. It's also helpful that we've been mostly using free agency to bring in low cost depth guys(low risk/high reward) instead of high priced guys(Browner/Spiller).

The future at DB is looking bright with Lattimore, Crawley, PJ Williams, Breaux, Marcus Williams, & Vonn Bell.

I agree. I'll add that the Saints have historically struggled to put dominant CBs on the field. They've had some years where the corners have been solid but in the 50 year history, can we name even 10 dominant CBs the Saints have had? Lattimore is a big addition.

Amazing that the pick had to be defended so much. It was a slam dunk decision and the kid is having as good of a start to his career as Michael Thomas did a year ago. Another year or two of drafting an elite talent and this team is going to be fun to watch.

Absolutely. this pick got solid hate on here after it happened. But we might be 0-4 without it.

he would've gone that high if teams at the top didn't get crazy over the RBs & WRs

Absolutely. Like a day before the draft I saw multiple mock drafts with him going as high as number 2 to the 49ers. I was hoping to get Barnett or Allen but not in my wildest dreams did I see Lattimore, Adams, or Hookers falling to us. Two of the three did exactly that (Hooker ended up in Indy). The guy is an absolute shut down corner and was the biggest steal of the draft, thus far.

Hooker has 3 ints so you wouldn't have been bad off drafting him either thus far

Although I agree Hooker is better, Williams has been around the ball often so I expect INTs to come when they can. Just a lucky bounce is all it is

Our Lattimore-Williams duo vs Indy's Hooker-Wilson

To think Ohio St had Malik Hooker, Vonn Bell, Marshon Lattimore, Eli Apple, Gareon Conley all in the same secondary...

To add onto that, the rest of the defense had Joey Bosa, Raekwon McMillian, Josh Perry, and Darren Lee.
Then look at their offense in 2014:
Taylor Decker, Pat Elfein, Zeke Elliot, Michael Thomas, Devin Smith, and Curtis Samuel.

Looking back at it, that's one of the most loaded NFL rosters I've ever seen

But LSUDAD says Ohio State doesn't put out NFL talent That moron finally blocked me on twitter. He was calling the Saints idiots for drafting Lattimore.
