Listed at 5'9" 180 lbs. Little undersized, but watching this Senior Bowl practice he looks great. Super fluid, great closing speed, stays calm and collected and is playing the ball well. Killing the 1v1 drills. Projected 3-4 round pick. We'll see how that holds up if his pro day and combine are as good as his senior bowl; he could be sneaking up to early 3rd/2nd. Think he'd be a great #2 behind Keenan. Anybody else got thoughts on him?

This also frees us up to take an EDGE or ILB, in a loaded class, in the first instead.

I'm just skeptical taking an undersized DB the way the NFL is going. Especially with guys like Jones, Benjamin, Wallace, etc in the division

True and I agree to an extent, but Lewis would most likely be guarding those guys anyway. He plays bigger too.

I hope we don't take a cb in the first. I'd rather go FA, but if he falls to the 3rd I wouldn't mind it.

Our 2nd-5th round picks need to be interior lineman heavy

Would rather someone taller, just as long as they don't think about drafting nick marshal. He's getting burnt bad

I agree with that, but I wouldn't mind 1/4 of those picks being corner help, especially if our first pick is front 7.

I honestly don't see an edge rusher as a huge need. We generated a lot of pressure off the edge this year, but our middle let us down. I hope Jenkins can stay healthy this offseason and step up. Same with Hicks.

In the 1st, my wish list is either:
1) great ILB
2) NT
3) Guard - would have to be a dominant prospect

I certainly wouldn't mind taking this guy at all. Corner is a hard position to come in and start though as a rookie, which is why I want to go FA

Totally agree, that's why I'm hesitant with taking Waynes or Peters at 13. Neither are really that elite standout in college that PP7, etc. we're, and CB is a hard enough transition. I'd much rather take a LB and a guy like White in the 3rd-ish rounds.

And speaking of DT.. Danny Shelton

Continues to elevate his stock. Might not even be there at 13 come draft day, but would love to snag him in the first.

I watched him practice today as well and he was the best DB out there. He's undersized, but he's cut out perfectly to guard those smaller/quicker number 2 WRs. I like him in the 3rd round.
