While this may be true, we're still alright. We just have zero room for any more injuries until Lewis comes back. I think we'll be ok with Breaux ad Browner, but if one of them goes down it could get ugly.

Breaux and Browner is going to be ugly.

Sean Payton is just the worst - hate getting blindsided by this shite every damn week.

Again, we are fans. This is none of our business. We find out when the coaches damn well feel like giving out the information. Would it make you feel better if he told you a few days ago instead? What the hell difference does it make?

thus since we have no front 4 pass rush and the secondary is decimated by injuries we will be toasted and roasted if we resort to that as much as Williams did in 2011. See 49er divisional playoff game.

At least we got to the divisional game. It obviously isn't ideal but what choice do we have? Don't blitz and let the quarterback sit back there against no pass rush and destroy our terrible secondary?

They'll be serviceable enough for the offenses being played in the first 4 weeks.

Can't be worse than the Prob/White fiasco

no pass rush, worst LB corps in the league, and worst secondary in the league, playing in pristine climate controlled conditions.

we are fricked. hopefully this is CSP's last year - he's become Haslett circa 2003-2005.

It doesn't have to be worse to be a disaster. And, our pass rush was probably better last year too.

Are you guys saying there is no pass rush based on the preseason? Because the first team did decently well. Kikaha alone made me think there will be at least some rush.

I'll say this...I feel better about Breaux and Swann than I do about White and Robinson from last year.

Why are the LB's the worst in the league? You have two 1st rounders from this year that have never played a regular season down in the NFL but they are the worst?

You bedwetting trolls are the worst.

I don't see what there is to laugh about - same arrogant attitude with the media and fans, same dysfunctional locker room and talented players being cut b/c he cant control them, same horrible drafts, same stubborn gameday decisions, same stupid penalties that cost us games (offsides, personal fouls, false starts at home).

The Saints are no longer a well-run organization. That will translate to the field. Being an NFL coach is tough - there's a reason most coaches only last 2.5 years. He's been here forever, it's time for a change. I'm sure he'll be great at his next stop but it's essentially over here.

Sounds like you just want to blame someone for injuries. It's a violent game and players get hurt all the time. Not much doctors can really do when someone tears a groin.

Considering the synergy between the Saints/Pelicans and the medical staffs encompassing both teams, it's starting to look like this is a real problem and these clowns don't have the slightest idea what they are doing.

God I hope you're right on our pass rush. Having trouble not writing off the first half of the year and just hoping for the best down the stretch to make a run for the division. Aside from Brees looking especially sharp, it feels like any optimism from the draft and offseason moves has been almost entirely eradicated.

So either he WONT be back in 4-6 weeks, it'll take much longer, OR he will be back but won't look like himself all year and we'll be reading articles all of next summer about how Lewis was "never right" after the hip injury last year and thats why we had the #32 defense and it's all gonna be fine now because he's back to 100%

shite is perpetual

Losing Keenan Lewis hurts, but damn the attitude on this board is no fun. Why even watch the season when you can't help but be a miserable frick?

Payton hasn't become that bad yet. Haslett was the lonely coach sitting at the end of the bar drinking alone at that point.

I do think Payton's "Do your job" schtick is beginning to fall on fall on deaf ears, though. You could even see it in Drew's pregame chant.
