Josh Norman is being abused in camp, apparently.

Oh yeah, so torched.

He wasn't badly burned either time. Speed isn't his game so putting him on an island against speed receivers is going to allow them to get some separation.

On the Jackson play he was anticipating a deeper route and Jackson just stopped on a dime. Those are hard to defend one on one no matter who you are.

I mean you have to expect some drop off going from a team with an elite front 7 to Washington, but some people pronouncing him dead in the water after a couple of practices is just absurd.

I mean I'm glad to hear it, I just don't think it means as much as some.

One on ones or team? Because one on ones ALWAYS favors the WR.

Are you trying to say "cut ties"? Because if you're trying to shorten "fish or cut bait", that makes no sense in this context. Just wanted to point that out to you in case you didn't realize it.

The expression explores the merits of two options: "Fish", which refers to the act of fishing; or "cut bait", which refers to cutting up pieces of bait into small, usable portions. A more modern, alternative interpretation of "cut bait" is understood to mean cutting one's fishing line. The meaning of the expression can vary, depending on which interpretation of "cut bait" is intended.
From Wikipedia fwiw. I'm certainly not all that knowledgeable on the expression.

Yeah, the expression is the same as shite or get off the pot. Do something. Either fish or cut up bait for me to fish with but just do something to contribute.

Norman is getting exposed. Zone CB or not he fricking knows DJ and PG are going to try to burn him. AND THEY ARE DOING IT. You guys that say "he's a zone corner" dont really understand what that entails. Its not like he is told to ONLY cover his 15x15 area; he's still gonna have to turn his hips and run with WR's when they play a single high saftey or load the box.

All this = OBJ GOIN IN DRY BOIIIIII

Only two plays in a practice but I'm happy we didn't sign him he would have been our new Jason David.
