Yes, we should. Wouldn't cost us anything to bring him in for a tryout. Seems like a no brainer.

He would never make the 53 but just having him as a camp body pretty much would guarantee the Saints would get Hard Knocks.

I have no problem giving him a shot.
And then getting rid of him immediately if he acts up.
He's very talented, young, and could be scary good if he gets his act together and is paired with an OC-minded HC like Sean Payton.

I think he could make the 53 as the 3rd QB. This could be an easy choice for the Saints.
1) Saints get to look at him.
2) Cheap cost--potential Value
3) gets to learn from Payton and Brees
4) No pressure to be the Starter.
Drawback
1) potential distraction which means instant cut
2) living in NO 6 months of the year

It sure sounds insane. I thought he was beyond the point of no return. Obviously, Coach senses something. All we can do is trust Coach on that. He's worked miracles with a few other guys that were given up on. It would sure be interesting.
