From Jimmy's Facebook/Twitter:
"Wow unbelievable. Shocked and disappointed on everything that's gone on this offseason."

This is the way it has to be if we want the Saints to continue having real success.

The Belichick model is the only way to go.

But but but who's going to sponsor Smoothie King when he's gone?

Is he too dumb to realize he's the main reason these moves have to be made?

Well Jimmy I'm shocked and disappointed you aren't taking vet minimum so that you wouldn't be shocked and disappointed by all these moves being made to help fit your fat contract.

What does he expect? Saints need money, gotta get it from somewhere. And the only way to do that is to get rid of players systematically, where by not crippling the team yet creating cap space to resign or bring in free agents.

Uh, Jimmy, you're kind of a big factor in why the team's making these moves.

Can we please lay off Jimmy.

None of this is his fault.

Well he has known all of those guys since he's come into the league so he must be feeling bummed.

It's part of the buisness but i can see how he's upset about it.

I get that they are friends and known them for a while.

But at the same time, he wants a ridiculous amount of $$$. Do players not understand how the salary cap works?

Asking for pay is fine.
Even if it's a lot.

But it seems disingenuous to ask for 12 mil/year and then act disappointed that the FO is cutting people to make room.

Truth be told, I wouldn't care if Jimmy walked at this point. Drew will find another weapon.

I agree and disagree. He's a great player and deserves to get his money.

But at the same time for him to be shocked and disappointed is disingenuous because it is partially because of him we have to make some of these moves.

I have no problem with him wanting and deserving to get paid.

What an interesting and original point you make.
