The Saints need to get the money. He hurt his own team.

I'd appeal. Do they give fines for other celebration penalties? All he did was dunk a ball twice. Goodell is just arse hurt because Jimmy said frick you and your rule.

I'm guessing you're making fun of Douchebag Doyle.

Hell, for $33,000 he can come to Metairie and dunk on my basketball goal in my yard anytime he wants.

Under federal tax law, on-field NFL fines are considered a business expense, and thus tax-deductible. Fines for off-field issues, such as arrests, are not tax-deductible.

I know you're saying this as a joke, but the most troubling thing that came out of this is the fact that he had the gall to argue with Payton when he got his arse chewed out. Imagine that! The guy gets 30 yards of unnecessary penalties so he can promote his "brand" and he wants to talk back to Payton.

As for those who think it's preseason and no big deal, it's a big deal to the guys out there trying to make the team. When the ball is pushed back on a kick off, the chance of a big return increases (which is exactly what happened on the second penalty). That puts more pressure on the kicker and the guys on the bubble hoping to use ST as an anchor to stay.
