Got in a big debate with the baws recently about wearing athletic jerseys. I think it's weird.

1. You got another mans name on ya back.

2. You ain't playing, wear a polo or T shirt.

Now if you wear one, that's cool, I just never would.

So, thoughts? Weird or not.

That link sums it up pretty good. Keep the down votes coming!

It's almost as silly as starting multiple threads about it.

So what? You're watching a sport that requires 1 guy to grab a ball from another guy's crotch.

If this gets to you i'd hate to see what a real problem does.

Why does this bother people so much?

I think it's weird you're judging guy's attire. Just an odd thing to be bothered by.

Shake off the haters.

I saw an old baw at 5 o’clock Mass in Madisonville wearing a white Brees jersey. Pretty sure that wasn’t Brees, though; he couldn’t have flown back and gotten ready for Mass that quickly.

As for wearing jerseys, only if you’re (1) at or (2) going to/from the game.

Watched a YouTube video of fights at NFL games. Mostly jersey wearing "played HS ball" types. I see why now. Yall some angry baws.

Ok, if you are 14 or under, or gender fluid but otherwise I agree.

So we are in first place for the first time in 4 years, and you bitch about some of our fans supporting our team by wearing a jersey? Frick you!

It's ok to wear a jersey for an NFL game.

But trashy wearing a jersey to a college game.

I didn't make the rules

I think it's weird to judge sports fan on thechosen attire they prefer. Seeing as how sports in general wouldn't exist without fan support then wearing a jersey so you can feel like you a part of it makes sense. Every time you buy a ticket, Merchandise, or watch a game you are contributing so you are just as much a part of that team as any player.

amen rex. wear a jersey, tee shirt, polo, columbia fishing shirt, peformance shirt or whatever the heck you want. I wear all of the above to games. these clowns judging are very insecure and it shows.

I wear a Brees jersey sometimes for games. But he’s way older than me, so it’s not like I’m wearing the jersey of someone half my age like I’m a trashy Jets fan or something

It's part the game, the overall experience for some. Some played football so wearing a jersey is second nature anyway. I played football for awhile but got injured as a freshman and stopped playing.

That said, for me, wearing a jersey to sit down and watch a football game is akin to wearing scrubs and watching ER on TV.

As far as everyone else, don't care. Do what makes you happy, we are all Saints fans no matter what.

I don’t get this aspect of the argument. I mean as a sports fan you’re essentially cheering on people while they’re at work. So I mean that’s kinda weird too
