Jenkins is literally the worst tackling safety I've ever seen

He's missed so many tackles, it's hard to watch.

He is the worst FS in the NFL. The sad thing is he acts like he is the best. The worst part is the coaches won't dump his sorry arse

Probably because he's really a corner.

I like how he clapped in Rob's face when he couldn't come up with the catch, acting like he was the reason why

He looks like a safety...and that's about it. Dude is shabby as hell and had the nerve to get a penatly after Meachem scored on his a$$.
The D ain't been the same since Sharper left. We need to go after some quality guys on D this year in the draft. We scout well for servicable RB's and OL, but it's time for some studs in the secondary and at LB.

Some of it has to be the DB coaching too.

Not only the worst tackling safety but probably the worst safety overall in the nfl. The dude cannot cover anyone.

move him back to corner and get a real FS. It was Williams who wanted him to move to FS anyway.

Coaching or talent?

Honestly, I think it's a combination.
Harper is limited talent-wise in pass coverage, Corey White is simply bad, and Jenkins is a waste at this point. He has no mind in the game playing safety.
Greer is legit, and Robinson has shown promise and has tons of talent, but has not developed much in 2.5 years.
Also, we have a ton of man cover corners being asked to play zone coverage. Ironically Jason David would actually fit in this scheme.

I think Jenkins is teaching White how to tackle.

Me too, but this was the issue with hiring Spags. We have horrible safeties, man-2-man cover corners, and no pass rushing DL worth a damn. So what do the Saints do? Hire a DC that runs a Cover 2 zone entirely reliant on getting pressure with the front 4 only.

I disagree. I think the secondary is also that bad. The plays they are getting destroyed on have little to do with not getting pressure on the QB.
