Jon Gruden or Chip Kelley would be my choices.

Jeff Duncan has become nothing more than a troll. People in NO for the most part are ignoring his crap filled articles. In addition, consider these 2 points:
1. Do you really believe that Sean Payton could ever work under Jerry Jones?
2. Payton's career was going nowhere until the stars aligned and he got to coach Drew Brees. Hell, he was relieved of his duties as an O coordinator by Parcells at one point. Do you really believe that Payton would risk tarnishing his reputation by leaving Brees?

As the parent of a special needs child, I'm offended by your use of that word. My daughter is way more intelligent than you seem to be.

Btw CSP isn't going anywhere if economics are equal. Everyone talks about his kids being there, but they are forgetting one thing. That also means the ex-wife is there.

He just makes an effort to be objective. I don't always agree with him but overall I think he an above average reporter.

Every single piece I've read has said that SP and JJ are buds, so...yes

This is probably the best reason for SP to stay with NO. But I still think that if JJ fires his head coach, and the Saints haven't yet signed SP, he will make an offer that Payton will not be able to pass up.

The fact that Payton has not signed on the dotted line tells me, and anyone with a brain, that he is waiting to see what happens in Dallas.

It's really no different than when the Saints first hired Payton. If Green Bay would have offered him the job he would have taken it. But he didn't and the rest is sweet history.

I read the article and two things struck me.
How poorly it was written and how little thought went into it.
It could easliy have passed for a thread on TD by a Shreveport cowboy fan.
Turrible job Jeff.

The Bounty gate fiasco really made me lose some respect. He was anti-Saints in every regard, but couldn't back up why exactly.

This. I could read his articles during the bounty fiasco. Regurgitating Herr Kommish's line in the local paper without asking any questions.

Personally, I dont think this is an issue. The Saints have exclusive rights until the end of the season. Get me to the end of Jan, then I'll be a little concerned.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: CSP signed an extension. If he didn't want to be here, he wouldn't have signed it in the first place.

I'd say that it's completely different. Consider how the Saints' HC position was considered then vs. how it's looked at now. It's a far more attractive position; right now it's certainly more desirable than Dallas would be.

Anything is possible but I'd be far more worried if the Saints hadn't signed Brees long term. Had this happened last year before we'd signed him, I'd be much more concerned.
