god I would LOVE to have La'el

he's going to be a pro bowler, I think our line would be STOUT if we added him to what we have and Brees could frolick in the fields prancing away and tossed TDs

This pretty much sums up how I feel about him and Scherff. Would take our offense to the next level

Yeah either/or. One of them with pick 13 would completely change this offense IMO.

Yep I agree 100%

I think the Giants are going to take Scherff at 9 and the Rams are gonna take La'el at 10 though, so we are screwed.

I know people are all set on going D with the 13 but getting one of those two would have more of an impact than any defensive player. We can get a ILB and Edge rusher with #31 & #44

Attacking the spelling of a word, in an age where everyone uses smartphones and technology prone to occasionally autocorrect the words to the wrong thing, proves you are grasping at straws.

You come in here thinking everyone is saying don't draft Collins, and you attack without reading why they feel that way. It has nothing to do with him going to LSU and everything to do with reaching for a player with measurables too early when we just addressed that spot in free agency.

But it's an LSU guy and you got YOUR feelings hurt. It happens when YOUR hormones aren't fully developed yet. I get it I was there 23 years ago myself. But don't worry little buddy YOU'RE going to eventually grow out that chest hair. Those little peas will drop too and you'll be just fine

Or you could stop being a bitch. Noone said anything about drafting LSU players besides Collins on this thread until you did. Who are you??? His fricking keeper? There have been several LSU players that EVERY team and fanbase in the NFL would love to have. What's funny is the dumb fricks here seem to think it makes them look cool by talking shite about LSU players. Guess what, it doesn't.

First off you are the one that came on here jumping on him because he made a statement about satisfying all the retards that come over here wanting us to draft players that dont deserve to be drafted in the 7th round to be drafted in the 1st round. And was meant as a joke. So how are you going to try and call me a bitch? You are making a fool of yourself.

Oh shite I almost forgot. Dumb fricks like this Meateye dude are the ones that think someone can't be a fan of both LSU and the Saints.

Nobody ever said you can't be a fan of both LSU and the Saints, I myself am a fan of both teams. But then you have people like you that give such people a bad name.

Your name insinuates that you like dick.

My name in no such way insinuates any such thing. Its simply a play on words but narrow minded fools like yourself would of course think such things even though it couldn't be any further from the truth.

So Mr internet badass you getting all beside yourself is fricking ridiculous.

I'll be waiting for you to find my post where I said anything of the sort. You're making pointless statements that have nothing to do with what I said. It's amazing that some ppl on here won't admit that the Saints front office missed on an LSU player solely because he came from LSU.

But to the OP... Wouldn't mind Jalen Collins, but not til 2nd round. And I love LSU, just don't think Collins is a 1st round CB. Trae Waynes is the only CB with a 1st round grade IMO, but since its a weak CB class and it's a position of need, teams will reach on other CBs.

And I do like Collins size, athleticism, potential, etc. But he never played like a 1st round CB. I mean he only started 10 games at LSU and if Rashard Robinson woukdnt have been suspended / kicked off the team, Collins would have started 0 games at LSU. He never was the CB1 and was the guy teams tried to pick on.

Love his measurables and all that, but just haven't seen him produce or play like a 1st round pick. And he's a project CB that will take a couple of years before the light bulb goes on for him. But if/when it does, he could be a good CB. But just too risky to take in the 1st and even early 2nd. But someone will just because it's a weak CB class and it's a position of need. He does have potential though.

I agree, and if we dont get a chance at Waynes or Peters I think people start reaching. I dont think we take him at 31 I was just speculating on what they may be thinking, knowing that they want a CB in this draft at some time. I really think we should wait to draft a CB until the 3rd round. We already reached on a project CB last year.
