Been moving that 6'7" 320lb body around the NFL since 2006. I would be getting tired too
I said before the season started Peat would be starting by seasons end. Will see soon perhaps. With the last 6 months no doubt CSP has a itchy trigger finger no matter who you are.

I think your right, Peat is really coming around.Him learning on the job would be safer for Brees that "Sack" Strief!!

He will. I target Nov 29, the first game after the bye. May and should happen sooner, but coaches like to use the two weeks to prep a new player.

Chopsley is a good locker room guy and does insightful postgame interviews, but uh, yeah, it's time.

Didn't we draft a right offensive tackle with a very high draft choice this year?

Call me generous, but isn't it possible Strief is just a bit injured?

I mean he's had an enormous drop off. Only allowed 3 sacks all of last season and gave that up in 1 game

Right. A drop off that severe is unlikely due simply to age

Age and ability has caught up with him.We got good production out of a over achieving 7th rounder. Its time to make the change.

That's a pretty sudden aging issue since he was outstanding last year

Good guy and has been a good player. But it's probably time to go.

Its not always gradual. You never know. He may just not be recovering in time to be 100% on game day.
When it comes to putting the best we have on the o-line to protect Brees I trust CSP 100%.

Either due to age or injury the speed rushers were killing him. He was holding his own pretty well against the bull rushers.
