Is the starting job Ingram's to lose?

Allee-Walsh states that the starting job is Ingram's to lose. If you've seen Ingram play for even one down, you'll know this man is not gong to lose the job. He is the perfect starter for Payton's offense and will be the best complement Drew Brees has had the pleasure of playing with since LaDainian Tomlinson in San Diego

The starting job is Ingrams to Win.
It'll happen somewhere around week 6.

Yes.
He does it all. It's amazing.
Blocks catches runs between the tackles.
Rarely fumbles.
Good locker room guy.
The playbook of the Saints will not be too much.
This guy is ready from day one.
The bad?
We gave up the farm and the future of the entire Galaxy to get him.
He played for bama and his coach...
the devil.

I think Payton does what he did with Bell, PT, and Bush....just plays whoever has the hot hand. We'll play the hot hand between PT and Ingram, while RB just racks up decoy stats

Saints will play the best player. Ingram will have his chance, but he's certainly not number 1 on the depth chart right now. I think the Saints will figure that out in practice and pre-season.

By the time the season gets here I do expect him to be the #1 RB and the Saints will show they were wise to trade a future first for him

It doesn't matter.
