Is Sproles hurt or just getting old?

He seems to have significantly slowed down this year, both on returns and rushes/catches, and isn't getting the edge.

Could be we was running on a muddy arse field and being covered by the best LB in the nfl.

He's a little slower spring chicken, still tough, maybe some nagging injuries, dealing with a worse OL than in years past, I wouldn't blame him more so than just the performance of our line but Sproles may not be worth his contract soon and we need to upgrade his services in the return game.

Could be both or either. He's hitting a few plays here or there, but he certainly hasn't been a factor like he was a couple of years ago, especially in the return game.
Being that he set the All-Purpose yardage record 2 years ago, I don't think this is the case.

He was covered by the best LB in the game right now. Give Sproles a break. Not to mention Luke looked like a friggin all star out there yesterday. What'd he end with 4032 tackles? It was insane.

You act like the Rams defense didnt look almost the same are better against this fell off the cliff offense.

See I think the same thing at times, but then he'll randomly bust out a play that looks like him from '11 so idk.
I think defenses have certainly keyed in on him more though.
