I know the guy has been criticized many times for not being a back that would lower a shoulder and blast a fool on his way to paydirt, but he did that very thing to put us ahead and half the nail in their coffin.

He runs like he wants to prove something

I lived his attitude Sunday even if he showed it in a bad way on the sideline a little

To to be honest from what I saw this preseason and Sunday we need to become a power run/ PA team. Ingram needs 20 touches a game which will open up the deep routes and also keep our D off the field. I dont see this happening with Sean P though

I think we just need to be balanced. I have no problem with the 2009 and 2011 offenses. Some of the best deep ball stats in NFL history

True. I just want to see Ingram get 20 touches. I think he is semi-elite level running right now. I kind of think that is tough for Sean though because it goes against his normal philosophy of not feeding one back

I don't care how many touches he gets. What I do care about is Sean Payton's clock management. There is no reason to give the opposition 1:20 after scoring when your defense hasn't done anything all day to stop anyone.

I hate railing on Payton, but sometimes he needs a good asskicking.

Maybe it's not true because of miracle advances in science and sports medicine and all that, but it sure FEELS like it to me, that if the Saints became a heavy power run team, Brees' arm would last a little tiny bit longer. I'd love to see them grind the rock and eat up clock. These 3 backs they have are all really good.

I love Sean Payton. I hate complaining about him. And I know scoring is not a certainty, so you do it when you can. It always concerns me though when the Saints are trying to move the ball, which that can do effortlessly, yet don't seem to bleed the clock. I get the bubbleguts, man. I can't help it. And on Sunday it bit them in the butt.
