Good Guy Arthur Blank
I would absolutely buy in the dome if they quit gouging us in there.

Yeah prices used to be good in the dome too when nobody was coming to the games like Atlanta.

They have to have a way to wrangle their "fans" into coming to games more than once. He knows Atlanta sports fans are the most fair weather, heartless, gutless and taste-deprived fools in all of fandom, so cheap, nasty food is a way for him to lure those pathetic sacks of bird shite into his new Sphincter-Dome.

Super Dome food is absolute trash. It isn't even about the price. The food itself is bottom of the barrel, borderline inedible. It is not unusual for the nachos to be stale. We are a city world renowned for our cuisine, and this is the garbage that our stadium serves.
Disclaimer: I haven't been to the super dome in a couple of years, but I used to be a season ticket holder for over a decade, and I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's safe to say that the food has not improved.

Have you had the smoke chicken/pulled pork nachos? Holy Christ those are good. And I'm pretty sure they gave me 5lbs of chicken.

Watch games in a suite, don't care.

Nice but that is not food I usually order in the Dome.

They may have added those since I have last regularly went there, or maybe they only serve them at a couple of spots. I remember they used to have 1 barbecue place on the terrace level that looked like it had decent food, but because they only had one the wait was so long that it wasn't worth it. I wasn't about to miss the game to grab a snack.

Actually, it seems the price of tax is included in the price to make the line go quicker.

The Falcons hope to make up some of the money lost on typical margins by doing volume. There will be 670 concession points in the new stadium, which is 65 percent more availability than the team has in the Georgia Dome. Soda refill stations will be separate from lines for those ordering for the first time. Prices, including tax, are right on the dollar, meaning there's no change to be made, thus speeding up the transaction time. The prices also could serve as an incentive for fans to buy tickets.
While Cannon said the concession prices aren't to achieve a greater goal, the Falcons have had a harder time selling seats in the upper bowl for its new stadium. The most expensive seats, $45,000 PSLs on the 50-yard line, are sold out.

Drinks alone in the dome are beyond ridiculous. Worse than the airport. $4.50 for a 20-0z coke, $9 or more for a 16-oz beer. I quit eating at the games years ago. Drinking may be next.
