worst.

One player from the draft won't make all the difference for this team. Get real.

Sorry but losing helps us and wining does nothing. I always root for a Saints win if there is a chance at the playoffs but if not I'd rather get the highest draft pick possible.

Those cheering for a worthless win must not understand the importance of draft position

Do you understand the difference from picking 8th and 14th? And that happens every round, so it's not "just one player". 5-7 spots in the first round is huge.

What the frick did winning this game accomplish for you in your mind as a "true" fan?

A top ten pick in every round would certainly help this team

You seem very uneducated about draft position and its importance.

You realize it's more than one round of better draft position?

It's not about rooting for a loss, it's about rooting for a better team. This is such a meaningless game.

You're an idiot. Thinking it's one player.

ding

The pick difference was the difference in between picking Brandin Cooks or CJ Mosley; Jeremy Hill or SJB; Sheldon Richardson or Kenny Vaccaro.

Could be the difference between one of the better OLB/DEs or OTs or not.

It's massive.

You even have a chance at guys like Odell Beckham Jr. with top 10 picks every round

What benefits the saints more today for the future? A win or a loss?

Fwiw I don't agree with tanking until the very final game when it's completely over and we truly had nothing to play for.

Exactly, you could end up with the top rated player at a specific position vs. the 2nd/3rd best. It could also be the difference between trading back for a guard and grabbing an extra 2nd/3rd rounder.
