I'm ok with the Saints sucking

We had some really good teams under the chipmunk and I'll always appreciate what he has done in the past. I never thought I'd live to see the Saints win a Super Bowl so it was awesome that they did it by the time I was 30. The good times weren't going to last forever and this seems to be the end of an era. Hopefully Drew goes to another team and wins another because I think he deserves it. I will always pull for the Saints and don't like to see them lose, but right now I'm ok with them blowing donkey balls. I will not let it bother me.

Pretty sure Brees isn't negotiating because he wants to see how season plays out. It's basically make or break for CSP and if he gets canned Brees is pretty much gone. Id say welcome to irrelevancy when they are both gone but we are already at irrelevancy with Payton here. Only thing stopping us from being a 3-5 win team every year is Brees so hopefully they can turn it around.

Let's watch until the bye and see what happens. You never know. Maybe this year is different and we get it together.
I have been pretty pessimistic the last couple of days, but Brees still has it, and maybe we can figure something out.
The scheduling gods sure as shite haven't done us any favors per usual.

If we don't finish above .500, Brees is gone. I would bet on it heavily.

I'm with you. I'm good with them losing to put them in a better draft position for a good QB which this year it looks like there will be a good crop. But the problem with that is they really need to tank the season and even though they lose, they don't tank.

Considering we were going to draft Mahomes at 11, if we suck this year we won't have to trade up for Brees replacement.
