If/When

If he has his typical above average year, if this happens, I don't see how they deny him again. Unless Manning leads Denver to 15-1 or something.

No.
Peyton Manning will deserve it for all the trials he has been through and all the flights and difficult interviews and dealing with the Irsay's rejection.
And leading the broncos to the playoffs.
Cinderella story in the rockies!
Case closed.

Do the Packers go 14-2 in your hypothesis?

I always feel that way when they talk about Drew and his MVP chances. They always say "yeah but ______ had and even better year"!

If Tebow takes over the Jet's halfway through the year and get's them into the playoffs, he get's it. Or Brady, Rogders or Manning.

There are a lot of if's for the MVP. Every year a few players step up and put up monster numbers.

However if the Saints go 13-3 the interim coach will be a lock for coach of the year.

Call me crazy but you might want to focus on signing the guy before he wins your hypothetical MVP.

P.S. I'm in a good mood today and simply trying to rile some of you up.

That's a good point and would be very deserving but I figured they wouldn't give it to him because Vitt was part of that mean ole nasty head hunting defense.

=============

In my opinion the media only cares about the story, he will be the mean and nasty guy until it benefits them to call him something else. If the Saints end up 13-3 it will be a story of "over coming adversity" , "Redemption", and other phrases they love to put in there.

I only posted this because there has been four times he has had a chance but was over looked one way or another. '06 after the disaster, '08 because of our terrible defense and he is the only reason we went 8-8, then Payton in '09 and obviously Rodgers last year. So this question isn't coming from "nowhere".

Oh and pay attention to your own team

I know, I know. I was going to try and post something witty about following the Falcons but quite honestly, there's been nothing to follow.
Damn team hasn't done a thing. Oh wait, they resigned the long snapper - CHAMPIONSHIP!

ETA: Chad, smile buddy. You ole salty bastard.

If we want to hear about falcon football, we'd click the soccer board button. We click saints button for a reason. It's bad enough we have to talk about your team twice a season.

Why is it not talked about that his neck is fixed due to stem cell treatment which is ILLEGAL in the US (and he had to go overseas to have it done)??? Shouldn't it be ILLEGAL in the NFL then???

What if a Saint had had the treatment?????????
