On the flip side we are the only team to have beaten Tampa Bay twice the 1 time they won a Super Bowl

Consider this. Tampa Bay started playing in what, 1977 or 1978? Also, how many teams since then that made it to the Super Bowl actually have played Tampa Bay? Only half of them could have played them in the regular season since they're in the NFC. My guess it not very many candidates overall.

it has nothing to do with the fact that Atlanta and Carolina played 2 teams that were just superior to them at the time

There has also never been a team from New Orleans win the superbowl. This little factoid means nothing.

The wikipedia factoid is misleading. No team has ever lost to Tampa in the regular season and then made it to the Super Bowl. So the Saints have already overcome this.
