Yeah, Marshall Faulk in his prime fetched a 2nd round pick. We aren't getting that for Khiry no matter what he does this year.

We're going to need to make a trade for a backup that can start or a G that has fallen out of favor. No choice, the situation is dire.

Still my most perplexing non-move of the offseason. I put the need as a top 2 priority. I didn't get it.

I honestly think they did not expect Jahri to completely disintegrate the way he did. They were thinking last year was an aberration, maybe. In their defense, no one saw this coming - I mean Evans was a no-bullshite Hall of Fame candidate as recently as two years ago.

Though we didn't have the prolific offense we did in the past we still had one of the top offenses in the league.

Meanwhile between our shitty LBs and shitty second corners teams killed us on quick passes all year (which also negated the pass rush).

Corner was clearly the number one need. But guard is also a huge need and was clearly number two (number one now). Cover LB was number three.

He made the eagles cut him because they were only paying him 5.5 million this season

I guess he's gonna eventually need to lower his price since no one is stepping up to pay him.

He's waiting it out for an injury to happen someone will have to pony up (or so he's assuming). He's just looking for one last signing bonus.

I have to believe that as rosters get cut down, there's going to be somebody out there worth picking up.

In terms of yardage, that's correct but last year was one of the more inconsistent offenses we've seen in the Payton tenure & it was hands down the worst season long performance by an offensive line on his watch.

Why the frick is Payton the only blind as mother fricker when it comes to Evans? Unless he is just being PC for the media, he needs to put down the pipe. The guards are a major issue.

Cannot believe we allowed ourselves to get in this situation at a position absolutely vital to the Saints' success.

I cannot believe your 20/20 vision is so superhero like. Show us your play for all the positions all the draft pics all the udfa and all of the salary cap implications there in so we can forward to the Saints FO post hast.

Any grade or eye test on Tim? I couldn't tell which may be a good sigh for a guard. But I did watch evans and he looked like warm poo.

I think he'll be fine. If he's the weak link on the line it's a major upgrade over last year.
