Then when he does get open space with good blocking and makes a 15+ yard carry, he asks to be taken out the game.

Yea Ive never been super impressed with him. I mean, hes okay but hes never the fastest, the most agile, best balance, best trucker or best shake-n-bake in the backfield for the Saints. Hes just an average, all-around back. His pass blocking is pretty damn good though and thats one reason SP keeps him around. That and if he dumped him he would have to admit yet another big miss in the draft.

I agree with you. He's terrible one on one for the most part.

The only time you see him get big yards is

A) when he gets into a pile and they think they have him down and he breaks out the back end.

or

B) the play is perfectly blocked
